Punter came to us from Tasmania and was named after one of Tassie's famous sons former Aussie Test Cricket Captain.  Ricky "Punter" Ponting.  

 

He was a super boy to train, a very willing worker in any discipline he tried his paw at and had great drive which he has passed on to all his puppies along with his loving temperament.  

 

We had many adventures together competing in agility, flying to WA for the Nationals, flying down to Hobart to compete in his home state.  He made many friends along the way and his loving nature converted some of my friends to become BC lovers and now owners.  

 

In October 2014 it was discovered he had cancer in his lower intestine and my vet operated to give me a few more days with him, but he wasn't ready to leave us yet and we had another 5 months together and during that time, he returned to the agility ring with many wins, lots of swims and beach visits, cuddles and even sired our Punt Litter.  On 18th March 2015, after one final swim in the dam, he was given his wings surrounded by those who loved him and his BC girls.
